Victor continues to be so ruthless, I suspect the next book will see his supervillain arc. I hope June, Syd and Mitch can go forth and live a happy lil life afterwards.

While seeking revenge, dig two graves—one for yourself. —Douglas Horton
Vicious was such a brilliant book that I was excited for Vengeful. Unfortunately, it wasn't nearly as good as Vicious. The action was actioning and more EOs were introduced, but it wasn't nearly enough Eli and Victor. The new duo of June and Marcella, didn't move me. I couldn't care less about their character or their back stories. The ending also fell flat and I just don't know where the author is going to go in book 3. The best parts of the book were of course Mitch and getting to know Eli's background. It helped me to understand more of Eli's mindset and his relationship with god. I will read book 3 because I need to see how the story ends for the former best friends turned mortal enemies.
