What a romp! A great sequel which keeps a lot of the great things about Vicious (found family, Victor and Eli being so obsessed with each other its a little gay, LORE, DRAMA), while adding some great new characters and building even more lore! June is a great addition, love her and feel like she can actually be rooted for. Marcella was also an excellent antagonist who I really felt for initially and then you get to see her go sicko mode in a very intoxicating way.

Victor continues to be so ruthless, I suspect the next book will see his supervillain arc. I hope June, Syd and Mitch can go forth and live a happy lil life afterwards.

V E Scwab knocks it out of the park once again. Returning to the world of Victor, Elon, Mitch and Sydney, we explore the consequences of the last book 'Vicious' and how our heroes(?) deal with the aftermath. And on top of that, we a wonderful, and delightfully ambitious mob wife taking matters into her own hands. If you enjoyed the first, you will devour this. If you haven't read the first one, go and do so.
