It was a pretty good book but there were a lot of characters and a lot of things going on that I fleshed out the world better but seemed to take away from the main through line. I felt like the first book was more directed and allowed you to connect better with the characters even though this book probably gives you more details about them

Definitely not as good as the first book. Way too many time skips and they weren’t consistent. The Eli and Victor hate only really came at the end. Not my favourite but good enough to be 4 stars.
Vicious is one of my all-time favourite books, so I was a little excited/nervous that there was going to be a sequel. I have to say this might have been even better than the first one! I don't know how Victoria does it, he writing always sucks me in. The real strength of these books is the characters! they are honestly some of the most complex characters I've read thus far. One minute you love them, the next you hate them.
I also really loved the addition of the new characters Marcella, and June. Marcella was such a badass with an amazing closet ;) I absolutely loved her as a character and her arc in this book. I also really enjoyed June, I really want to know more about her back story.
I'm not gonna lie I would not be mad if she revisits this world in a third book ;) there is so much that could still be explored, and I feel like even though the majority of the storylines were tied up nicely in this one, there is definitely room for more if she wanted to continue.
I could gush for hours over Victoria's writing, there's a reason she's one of my favourite authors. There's something so magical about her writing, any book I pick up by her I instantly get sucked into the world she's created. Everything is written so vividly!
I feel like in the right hands an adaption of these books could be seriously incredible. I can totally picture these being like a huge blockbuster smash.

I LOVE the concept of June's power. It is so unique and cool and I could watch her fuck with people forever. so so cool and the way she interacted with everyone else because of it was so awesome I want an entire series from her perspective

Great but this was a bit draggiing. A bit too many charachters to follow and timejumps, got a bit confusing. But some parts were amazing, and I love them. The obsession. <3
