All told, this is a brilliant graphic interpretation of a brilliant book.

It is one thing to tell an excellent story. It's quite another to tell that same story from a different character's point of view and fill out the interwoven background details as richly as Card has here. Simply put, Ender's Game would not have been his without Bean. And here we saw an important side-character become fully the hero of his own side of the plot.

The best part is... for a good deal of Bean's story, I wasn't certain what he would become. And in that, I feared for him more than I had for Ender.

Bravo to Marvel on this complex and ambitious undertaking. The artwork didn't always match what I'd had in my head, but it didn't stray far enough to be distracting or distancing from the heart of the telling. And the concept art was a lovely bonus!

Excellent. Loved the novel, really enjoyed this adaption for the slightly different point of view.
