I thought the book was really good based off a video game I have an interest in. I thought it gave a perfect example that zombies are really like humans and we shouldn't be quick to judge a book by its cover.

I was underwhelmed by this book but my Minecraft mad daughter enjoyed it.

If I was rating this based on my own personal enjoyment, I'd give it 2 stars. Boring! But my Minecraft obsessed 6 year old said he liked it and wants to read the next, so he wins.

Fiona loves Minecraft so I'm forced to read things like this lol.

funny fast-paced

Pros: popular topics, spoof, white space, simple sentences, kid humor
Cons: some questionable punctuation, b&w photos (Minecraft characters and screenshots), weak plot and character development, may get dated as the game changes

funny fast-paced

Self-published Minecraft fan fiction mimicking Diary of a Wimpy Kid that nails with startling accuracy the quintessential ten-year-old boy voice.
