Great cozy read! I just kept coming back to read a little more!
How popular is the surname Darcy? From what I've read/seen, a full half of the population of Britain and her former colonies have the last name Darcy.
Anyways, it's a cute read when you've put down your knitting for the night. Everything gets wrapped up quickly and easily and with a nice bow and there's a man with the last name of Darcy, what's not to enjoy? Sometimes you just don't need a challenging read. Well, let's be honest, I found it challenging to suspend my disbelief that someone could knit a sweater in a weekend.

Such a lovely book, I wish I'd live in Tindeldale and could be part of the knit and natter group!
I've been reading strictly romance for so long, it took me a while to get into this book. I kept looking for the moment where Sybil started to fall in love with the the doctor or the book store owner. It was only when I realized that the point of the story wasn't that she would be falling in love with a man, but instead was falling in love with a town and the people who lived there, that I was really able to relax and enjoy the story for what it was.
It was a heartwarming tale of moving forward, forgiveness and following your dreams. It's a story of empathy, acceptance and selflessness. With an eclectic group of neighbors, a gregarious dog and a whole lot of knitting, this book was a lighthearted, fun, holiday read that will have you looking for your very own local haberdashery.
*I received an ARC from the author/publisher in exchange for an honest review

This was chock-full of knitting, so how could I not enjoy it? The writing style was sort of awkward, but it gave it sort of an old fashioned feel and for some reason I didn't mind it.
Hach- nett!
