The Screwtape Letters

C.S. Lewis

4.12 AVERAGE

Incredible insight into the inner workings of the spiritual realm. A must-read for the Christian desiring to arm themselves against the workings of the adversary.
challenging reflective

I both loved and hated this book. Lewis was a genius and for him to write this when he did and so perfectly depict the state of education in the US today is amazing but oh how depressing! It made me sad to see with such clarity the lies so many are falling for! I would like to say I will read this again but I think its too depressing.

Amazingly how this book depicts the unimaginable world of evils and demons and how they orchestrates our mind to draw near in sinning.

This book will help us determine how these ancients spirits work their way to us and for us to flee away by knowing how they act.

But as the author said, these are all fragments of his imagination. So, it’s up to us to believe or not — but for me, I’d rather believe.
