This book was cute. Not gods gift to modern literature style or prose wise but most importantly I had a great time. Vektal is a sweet hunk and we love a man whose love language is all 5. Georgie is a fun FMC and I would often say “mood” out loud while reading. Sex scenes were just the right amount of spice and the aftercare always gave me the warm fuzzies. This really was great read and you’d have to have a heart of ice (see what I did there?) to not enjoy this one.

Be advised: In the First 15 pages TW/CW One instance of background SA

The beginning of this story was absolutely diabolical. This was such an interesting storyline

1,5 estrellas.

Things I liked:
  1. Georgie’s humor
  2. Making the best of a terrible situation
  3. Not Hoth planet flora and fauna
  4. Fast-paced plot. I want to find out what happens next!

Things I didn’t like:
  1. The beginning has some really rough traumatic scenes- make sure you read the TW
  2. Pregnancy trope
  3. More smut than spice, but still enjoyed it!

This was not at all what I was expecting but was actually entertaining. Based on everything I have heard about this book I was genuinely surprised there was an actual thought out plot to the book and that I liked the characters as much as I did. Overall a little weird but a good solid book that I enjoyed, not super memorable. Had a fun time while reading but probably won’t think about it again and won’t be reading the rest of the series since it seems like just a repeat of this book but with different characters basically just about them mating. Also he basically only liked her because of the kui which bothered me a bit. I did like them having to figure out how to communicate that was funny and how protective he was.

- Recommend?! = Maybe, Fun read but not missing anything if you skipped it
- Science Fiction, Romance/Adult
- Kindle
