Netra did her big one with this one. I love how strong and body positive she made Rivah but also spoke about the reality of being a woman in this world as far as sex goes. Now Kross was the perfect man for her. He didn’t try to change her just loved her as she is! I am OBSESSED with this book! MISTER KROSS WITH A K?!?! Yeah that is what you call an M A N. Every time his character spoke life into Rivah I couldn’t help but highlight it. This book shows it’s possible to be loved while you heal and that all you need is someone to SEE you to get through the hardest parts of healing. Kross made Rivah feel safe and protected and that was what everyone needs in a relationship. This book was funny, sexy, mysterious and honestly I PRAY there will be more of the G family! I IMPLORE you to pick this book up and enjoy the ride! *wink*

This book is short, sexy, funny and that plot twist—I didn’t see THAT coming.
I loved everything about this book! Specifically the banter between Rivah and Kross. She knew what she wanted and he knew how to get HER.
The only thing for me as a reader is I wish it was a tad bit longer to feel MORE of Kross and Rivah, I couldn’t get enough of them!!! I’ll tell you the chemistry was oozing off the pages. The author did a very good job of making us feel the passion between these two. I hope to see them in future projects of hers.

The way Netra writes is just chefs kiss. It leaned into a much much needed conversation surrounding the topic of women and how people view us and our sexuality. The FMC, Rivah, was one that lived life unapologetically & the pain and heaviness she has had to carry.
The MMC, Kross, was such a great character into how the story unfolded and the way this story was carried? Loved the plot and how this story was written!

Rivah Reneé Banks pulls all the punches. She’s an educator by day, and a vixen by night. She doesn’t subscribe to traditional ideologies on her pleasure. Lord knows I can respect a woman that does what she wants to, whether fictional or real.
There were so many moments that I thoroughly enjoyed. Rivah is my type of shit talker lol. She’s sweet, but petty. Slips you the verbal poison with a smile and batted lashes. She’s intentional with a good read. She doesn’t let it fester within. She
hands it to her victim and lets it burn metaphorically, of course lol.
Kross can keep up with Rivah. He’s not afraid. The moment in which they’re enjoying each other’s company, and he inquires about her upbringing, took me out. It’s because he truly cared. The emotional, physical and even intellectual lack that Rivah didn’t even know she yearned for had manifested into this man. She tried to ignore the feelings, but it was null and void. They were both hooked.
Also, this is my written petition to get anything, maybe even a short for Niv. Please, she is hilarious, but she doesn’t play.
Netra Antionette is becoming an auto-read author for me. Her tone is poetic and conversational. Her reach and range when it comes to addressing tender topics is eloquent. She can write a book Down.
