oh my GOD this book drove me insane. every time i picked it up i sobbed. i read this after finishing his other novel, a thousand splendid suns, and it was good but not nearly as good as atss. but that’s not to dog on this book at all, for a debut novel (i think) this is absolutely insane. the writing is breath taking and the descriptions are engaging. not one point was i bored or wishing i could stop reading. but for such traumatic topics being touches i did take a BUNCH of breaks to even digest the content. regardless it’s amazing

Ich weiß nicht. Es ist ein sehr gutes Buch, das ich mir selbst nicht ausgesucht hätte zu lesen aber ich finde, man sollte es gelesen haben. If that makes sense.
