I love the angst between the narrators. I love that the book pulls the rug out from under you over and over again.
I wish that there was more slueth energy. With our narrators being a journalist and a detective, I was expecting more investigation.
For the record, I totally saw the ending twist coming.

I had it pegged pretty early on though they did a good job trying to throw me off for a while there
This book had some twists followed by more twists. I loved how the point of view changed from each character chapter by chapter. This is my second book by this author and cannot wait to read more .

I loved the three POVs: her (Anna), him (Jack), and the killer. I thought I had it all figured out based on reading the killer’s POV, but I still didn’t guess correctly. Everyone is a suspect and everyone has a motive.
Small town setting plus creepy woods that no one can stay out of makes for a complex, twisted, and freaky story.
Ahh! You won’t be able to put this down!

Great book! The big reveal at the end is something that Alice Feeney always surprises me with, I try and I try to figure it out before the end and yet I never do.

Very twisty, darker than I like or else it would be 5 stars. Even at the end I was second guessing my understanding of who the murder was. Loved how the narration of the murder was told using voice distortion.
