Mystery/Thriller Story: 5/5

Thrillers and mysteries are my jam, my go-to and this book didn't disappoint for the murder mystery element. The ending was a shock to me, the dementia felt very real + the unreliable narrators are brilliantly written. And let's not forget that the killers voice in the audiobook, CREEPY AF

This is my 3rd Alice Feeney book, and having started with her 2 newer books, I kept thinking, where's the big twist?! Well it FINALLY came in the last 8 pages! I definitely feel spoiled by the previous Feeney books I've read.
Either way, this book was still enjoyable but I can definitely see Feeney's growth as a writer having just finished Daisy Darker.
Daisy Darker SLAPS while His & Hers just kinda gives you a light tap, ya know?

i wanted to give it four but it def would have been five if i hadn’t spoiled it for myself

A crazy quick and easy read. The murderer is someone I would’ve never expected. I’ve gained a new fav author!

Chills! I always love Alice Feeney’s books but this one I think is my favorite. The last third had me on edge and I literally could not stop reading. Love that this book is also not predictable, always a twist and a turn!

This was a really dark, twisty, well-paced thriller that I thoroughly enjoyed! The characters were all interesting and complex. Everything was related and intricately connected. I saw red herrings all around and even fell for a few. I was constantly guessing and on the edge of my seat throughout the entire story. I did have some suspicions about what was going on that ultimately were partly correct, but the story was told in such a compelling way that I was extremely satisfied with how everything unraveled. I cannot believe I did not read this sooner and I am looking forward to reading more from this author!

hm this was ok idk

This was my first Alice Feeney book & it definitely won’t be my last. I was hooked from the very beginning. Being told in 3 different points of view gives readers a look into both of the protagonists minds as well as the murderer. While I was right in figuring out some of the twists, I did not anticipate who the actual killer and was shocked when it was revealed but there are some bonds that are greater than others and it sounds like if a certain someone doesn’t stop asking questions, they’ll be the next to be taken out. If Feeney’s other books are as good as this one, I may have another author that will always get my money.

LOVED THIS!! This is my 3rd Alice Feeney book. Rock Paper Scissors, Sometimes I Lie and then this one. I have really liked the others but this is my favourite! Every time I thought I had figured it out it kept twisting and turning ( really all I ask from a book!). I can see sometime thinking it was a little unrealistic but honesty I appreciated all of the plot points. This was my type of book. Highly Recommend!
