Oh Alice... you've done it again. Sometimes I Lie might be my all time favorite thriller. I didn't love I Know Who you Are the way I did Sometimes I Lie and I was so afraid that Feeney would be a one hit wonder. I always loved her writing and flow and they way she makes you desperate to know what happens, but His & Hers goes beyond that. His & Hers is a gripping thriller that has so many twists that in my head I changed my prediction 10 times! This book would translate into a fantastic movie, which is exactly how I felt about Sometimes I Lie. I will continue to grab every Feeney book that comes out as quickly as I can get my hand on it.

Really unexpected twists, especially the ending. Makes you question every character. Doesn’t really get interesting til after the 100th page unfortunately.

OMG INSANE ACTUALLY INSANE
It’s currently 12:30 in the morning and I just finished this book. I could not put it down AT ALL!!!

Throughout this book was singled handedly guessed and gave about every character a motive to the murders and somehow missed the crucial MAIN KILLER

So many twists and turns, red hierings and deliberate misleading!!

I went from, it’s Anna then it’s Jack to Anna and Jack killed their child, then to priya (not gonna lie she still creeps me out! Like she was weirdly close to Jack), then Richard, to then linking Richard’s children’s had blonde hair! Who else had blonde hair, Catherine Kelly!! to then wondering what happened to cat jones because she was a very important character at the start, to finally connecting it and thinking Catherine was the actual killer. To then we gobsmacked and whiplashed in the face and find out that Anna’s mum was the killer the whole time!!!!!!!!!!

Never guessed the old lady with dementia (NOT)!!!!!!

the plot twist OMG. It is FABULOUS.
Love the "unreliable narrator" thrillers
Feeney somehow managed to pull off carefully laid clues and great explanations of motive. I was literally thinking just about every character was the killer and never actually guessed the real killer till the end!

Some things still left a little unexplained but that’s what I love about thrillers sometimes, you get to make and come to your own conclusion as to what happened

I couldn't put it down, but I don't think it came together as well as it should have. Perhaps I'm mad because I figured out whodunnit pretty early, but wanted to be wrong. I took note of some good lines:

"She always [wears] ironed blouses, or whatever it's called when a woman wears a shirt."

"Take care of the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves."

"Youth fools us into thinking there are infinite paths to choose from in life; maturity tricks us into thinking there is only one."

Recommended by Betsy, who is partially redeemed.

4.25!!!!

Once again Alice does a great job keeping you guessing until the very last chapter! Love the back and forth writing style for this as well.
