I love this book so much! I am reading it for about the sixth time. The chemistry and banter are so good. The photo shoot and hate banging are hot. Shane is amazing! When he shuts down the misogynistic talk show host and threatens the director for calling her a sexist name... it's hotter than the sex. It seems like some people don't like Lilah, but I don't know, maybe check your own bias on that. She just seems like a real woman trying to navigate some tricky issues to me.

the only reason the reviews of this are so bad is because it's heavy on the miscommunication trope, despite that being one of the MOST realistic tropes out there. lilah is hard to like in the beginning, but i really enjoyed her character growth. plus she's 5'11' so obviously she can do no wrong in my eyes.
the photoshoot scene also lives in my head rent free.
