So, I'm sorry, but this just wasn't what I had hoped for.
The cover and title are really cool and the blurb sounded promising.
I liked the style and the way the poems were written. They use a lot of really nice to read metaphors and symbols, lots of fancy words and flowery language. Which I would eat up, if ... there was more than that. Because, while the verse are all nice they don't really say much of substance.
I couldn't really connect and considering the fact, that this was a really short collection, I kinda had to settle for 3 stars.
But just because this didn't work for me doesn't mean it couldn't work for you.
