I won't go into detail except to say that Coben's Myron Bolitar series might appear dated if you look at copyrights, but it's a classic story that just gets better with age. Darkest Fear is no exception. Read it!

I enjoyed it, but to be honest had higher hopes for Coben's writing. Maybe it's just a different style I need to get used to, but I think it also had to do with the fact that I knew there would be a plot twist and so was expecting something at every turn. Once you know something is written in a way that's supposed to keep you on your toes, that's the way you'll read it and therefore it has the opposite effect.

Still a chilling and interesting plot though.

Another great Coben book in the Bolitar series. I do love the twisty endings! This is also not my favorite, but did really enjoy it.

I finally got round to reading this. It wasn't as edge-of-your-seat as I'd expected but still a good read and I'll definitely be looking out for more of Harlan Coben's novels.

One of my favourites! Who could have pictured Myron with a son? This is a moving and more personal book than Coben's others in the series and shows the reader a much softer side of Myron. Love it!

Good twisty plot. Nothing that made me want to read more of the series. Too much “breaking the 4th wall” by the author. Don’t care for device of having team of quirky characters called in to save the detective just when needed.

It seems like this series gets better with each new book. In this one, we get more of the humor, more plot twists, and some backstory on Myron's basketball injury.

No need for a review. Just read the book.
