By the last 200 pages, things picked up a little, I think because his wife and daughter are far more interesting. I expected that ending but the last detail broke my heart. All in all I don't think I was in the mood to read it, although I have been reading about self harm, murder, cults... But life and death described to you through memories makes it more real. I still stand by my first judgement, it was a load of clichés and too much description. I believe if it was shorter it would have been a hell of a book.

5⭐️!! Wouhou. Je sais pas quoi dire. Je pense même l’aimer plus que jamais plus…🫣 jsp jsp. Je sais même pas quoi dire aaarh. Terminé en 7 jours. La fin! La fin! On en parle ? Je m’y attendais mais en même temps non. Je m’y attendais pas du tout en fait. Je pensais savoir mais en fait non. DE TOUS LES PLOTS TWISTS QUE J’AI LU, C’EST LE PIRE. Meilleure livre que j’ai jamais lu je pense. Bon à certains moments, il y avait beaucoup de descriptions mais je pense pas qu’elles étaient non importantes ? Hâte de voir le film en espérant qu’il est aussi bien que le livre.
Je suis obligée d’écrire ce dernier commentaire par rapport au film. Il était bien et ils ont gardé l’histoire principale et n’ont pas changé le plot twist mais beaucoup de parties n’ont pas été mises dans le film et certaines changées mais ce n’est pas le pire film que j’ai jamais regardé. Je recommande le livre et le film mais beaucoup plus le livre quand même

This is one of the best novels I have ever read.. it made me realize what are my priorities in life and how we should take advantage of every single moment to be with the people we love... the ending was so shocking to me and made me go in tears... simply,, amazing...

Este foi o primeiro livro escrito por Musso e talvez por isso não me agarrou como os outros. Talvez por eu ter começado a ler os livros mais recentes em primeiro que são mais policiais, enquanto que os livros iniciais são mais "espirituais". Ainda assim foi uma boa leitura só houve algumas partes que achei lento e repetitivo, mas não deixou de haver aqueles momentos de querer saber o se passaria de seguida.

c'etait bien mais sans plpus.
l'idée etait intéressante mais je sais pas les emotions restaient à la surface.
et puis j'ai un probleme avec l'ecriture. J'avais l'impression de lire un harlequin. les tournures de phrases et le vocabulaire étaient guindés.

Thrilling and enriched with emotion! Very different from Musso's other works, but equally intriguing, original and well-written.
I loved all the characters, especially the doctor - I can't wait to see the movie with John Malkovich! <3
The ending was jaw-dropping and I didn't expect anything like that to happen, but after all that is Musso we are talking about - that's his trademark.
In the end I was really amazed, impressed, inspired and deeply moved by the book.
Definitely one of my favorites!
