I liked this book a lot- the aesthetics of it, the writing, and the heavy Fleetwood Mac allusions. I could have done without the entirety of the book being in the interview format. I appreciated the differing perspectives on the events that this offered, and I thought there was real poignancy in the times where a character would explain their past motivations and that be punctuated by another character saying “I thought everything was fine” or a perspective that was so naive about another’s perspective.
I did think that Daisy and Billy were going to have a more solid relationship, and I thought in light of it all, Camila was a bit cruel in the end to Daisy. Camila was someone who prioritized her marriage over everything, but I think her take on what that meant is so different from mine that I had trouble maintaining my sympathy towards both her and Billy and what it meant to them to value their marriage. In a lot of ways, I think Camila was just as culpable as Billy and both of them put their doubts in each other on Daisy.
Overall, I liked this book a lot, more than Evelyn Hugo (the only other TJR book I’ve read.)

This book was super interesting and I loved the format of it. It was really cool to find out who the interviewer was near the end.

I had mixed feelings about the ending but overall, it was a well written book and the ending makes a lot of sense.

Team Karen, lol.
