Somebody inject this book into my bloodstream. I friken loved it. Gonna go watch the show now. The characters were just so well written with complex thoughts and emotions and I felt for all of them. A super interesting format for a book too which worked amazingly. I wish there was more of it. Taylor Jenkins Reid hasn’t missed with any of the book I’ve read by her. In audiobook form it feel even more real with the distinct voices as if it’s really interviews. Just gorgeous.

I greatly enjoyed reading this book, so why the low rating? The writing concept was really good, it was great even, but the execution was a bit sloppy at times. ALSO only having one account of Pete, the bassist squeezed in at the very end??? I thought he died before the books interview. And the fact he lived irked me. Yeah I cried and it was a very tumultuous journey and it felt so real i had to look up whether they were a real band or not (the answer: not until the show came out). That's all i have to say about it. Cool stuff.

I enjoyed this book more than I expected to. The audio book is amazing and easier to follow than the print version. The way it was written was so unique and creative. It reminded me a much more tamed version of “The Dirt”. I thought it ended perfectly. Now I’m excited to watch the show!
