Peak Lisa jewell; dysfunctional family, trauma, multiple points of view, and a full cast of great narrators who can do multiple accents. Not the most gripping but definitely compelling and a fun read.

Was really looking forward to this sequel but found it really hard to want to read it continuous like I did the first. 3/5.

The Family Remains dives deeper into the aftermath of long-buried secrets. With multiple POVs and tightly woven suspense, it's a dark, addictive read that brilliantly ties past and present.
Not nearly as exciting as the first, only kept reading for the sake of finding out how it was going to end. I thought Rachel's POV was uninteresting and unnecessary until the last few chapters. Conclusion was not at all interesting buid up of stiry line was missing. I liked the first book.

Always an easy read and well paced. Just wasn't as gripping as the first.

I don't know why I delayed reading this gem!
I absolutely loved The Family Upstairs and this was just the perfect successor in all sense. I was hooked from the start and I couldn't stop reading, this book had me turning pages late into the night. I genuinely missed all of the characters, Henry Lamb with his psychoticness and Lucy with her fierceness and I loved the new characters introduced, Rachel who was so strong and of course I hated Michael.
Such a well-written thriller, with elements of suspense and heartfelt writing and difficult topics that left me teary-eyed.
Love Lisa Jewell!
