Just don’t really understand why this sequel was necessary…not anywhere near as intriguing as the first one. Way too much going on. Not suspense at all. Couldn’t wait to be finished.

I actually liked it better than The Family Upstairs.
3.5*
Overall, an enjoyable, easy read. However, it wrapped everything up too well and it seems everyone got a happy ending, which I don’t expect in thriller type books. I don’t think this sequel was necessary.

I liked this one a lot more than the prequel, simply because I had a handle on the characters, how they were related, and a little bit of a backstory, so this one didn't take me half to the book to get into; I was already invested from the go. It also tied up what was remaining to be answered from the first book. It also helped answer some of the questions as to why the characters behaved the way they did in the first book.
