I wasn’t sure where this book was going to go. The first in the series, The Family Upstairs, felt like it had been wrapped up and ended quite well but I was definitely craving more. This follow up did not disappoint as a whole but was very guessable for chunks of the plot. That being said, I’m glad I finally carved out time to read it! Are some characters a little infuriating? Yes. But you will just have to hate how they leave you craving more each page turned. The ending wasn’t really what I expected but I was happily surprised.
