It was a good book, but not that much interesting. However the representation of Islam is good.

The writing was just not it for me, it was bad quality wattpad vibes with too many grammatical errors and unnecessary dialogue and I wanted to love this book so bad because I really wanted to read a sweet innocent muslim love story but ill be honest I couldn't get through the writing and only skim read 50% of the book just to "finish" the read.

I'm no gonna lie, i reaaally reaaally enjoyed this book. I've been wanting to read halal romance for so long and i finally got to read it and it honestly did not disappoint.

Starting off, i LOVED both of their iman and their haya, also the fact that they refused to meet without her father or her brother. Also the fact that he was straightforward from the veeery beginning was truly amazing, specially with the amount of liars and people who only want haram relationships in our society nowadays

DID NOT FINISH: 35%

I usually force myself to finish every book I start no matter how awful it is, but this one was too much...
The writing was so bad, it's like a mediocre wattpad book.
80% of the dialogue and ect was unnecessary and added NOTHING to the plot (I doubt the plot existed in the first place tbh), it merely made it worse.
The characters were one dimensional and uninteresting.
And the Muslim representation I was looking forward to was barely there! (Let's not talk about that "some ppl have two daddies or mommies" bit, it will only piss me off.)
So, basically, this book sucks.

The writing felt so juvenile and the plot was slow and repetitive, I really wanted to like this book seeing how excited it made everyone but I just couldn't get into it :/

A beautiful book that gives an amazing and accurate representation of Islam and the north african culture.

The relationship between the main leads is what one can only hope for.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
