Overall acan't-miss-it anthology, pls read it. Here are bitty reviews of my fav aroeuws:
Roadside Attraction by Alix E. Harrow 4.5 - gut wrenching romance. this ended exactly where i wanted, and not to be insane, but i had a vision for exactly how it would get there that would have been transcendental and i can't quite give 5 stars without that. alix harrow's short fiction has been so good for me

The Past Life Resurrection Service by Zen Cho 4.5 - I LOVE PAST LIVES. this was wonderful
First Aid by Seanan McGuire - 3.5 iconic of her to have such an interesting concept on such a small story, but it did feel a little like the first chapter of a great book and then 1/4 of a chapter later in the book to wrap it up
Kronia by Elizabeth Hand 4 gorgeous
Bergamot and Vetiver by Lavanya Lakshminarayan 4 actually fascinating history on top of a great short plot
Unbashed, or: Jackson, Whose Cowardice Tore a Hole in the Chronoverse by Sam J. Miller 5 I am weeping alone in a restaurant
Time Gypsy Ellen Klages 5 this is a perfect short story

As with almost all books comprised of short stories, some are great, some are so-so, and some are just not good. This book was no different.
I loved the first and last stories, and there were a few in the middle I really enjoyed, but the bulk of them were just ok, with a few stories flat-out making no sense and reading as unnecessarily difficult.
Overall, though, it was an enjoyable way to pass the time.

Someone in Time is the best of the best of the best. Anthologies are always hit or miss for me, but each story in Someone in Time had at least one moment I loved. All the stories share themes of romance and some time travel/manipulation, but each is singular in how it approaches said travel - sometimes it leans toward sci-fi and sometimes it’s magic/fantasy. I loved reading each author’s take. Every story was unique and even the stories that stick to the classic time travel trope rules were fresh and fun. If I had to pick a favorite, it would have to be The Difference Between Love and Time by Catherynne M. Valente.

I was forged in a future on the edge of erasure, and I would vanish with its extinction unless I found answers here, in the vibrance of a forgotten time.

Can’t go wrong with a short story collection. Only a couple of flops in here for me.

Enjoyable anthology of time travel romance short stories. I liked some more than others but the overall quality was good. I liked the range of pairings and variety of types of time travel. For genre romance readers, be warned that not all of the love stories end with solid HEAs.
I bought this on sale for the Zen Cho story, which was quite good. My favorite was probably the story by Ellen Klages, a new to me author.
