Blame It on the Tequila centers around Nova & Parker who used to be step-siblings that shared a deep connection with one another. However, a decision caused these two to be separated for years until they finally reunited once again.
Let me tell you that I have been waiting for this book for months. I was extremely excited to read about Nova & Parker because all the tropes that they served are exactly my top favorites. N you know what? It wasn't disappointing at all caused I really liked most parts of the book. However, I do feel like I want something more between these two. Even so, their chemistry for one another covered the flaw for me. Overall, it was an enjoyable read. I think Fiona has done a great job in delivering this story and I can't wait for the next book to arrive. Highly recommend for everyone to try out this book.

Fiona Cole writes beautifully well-written, passionate, captivating and forbidden love stories that will keep you intrigued. Blame it on the Tequila is no exception. The angsty, slow burn love between Parker and Nova was absolute perfection as they each dealt with their pasts to be able to move forward. The writing, plot and dialogue is superb. I loved this compelling rockstar romance. I am looking forward to the next book in the series. I received an advanced copy of this book and am enthusiastically leaving an honest review.

The girl gang of Nova, Rae, and Vera are back! The Blame It On Alcohol series is such a great one; it manages to be fun and light-hearted while touching on some heavier topics simultaneously. Blame It On Tequila features Nova. Because of her past, Nova is so secretive that not even her best friends know everything. While she has a huge social media presence for her art and travel adventures, she never shows her face. To take advantage of a once-in-a-lifetime offer, she risks her anonymity and heart.
The romance between Nova and her former stepbrother, Parker, is a slow burn filled with their feisty banter and yearning for each other. Their relationship is years in the making with a true friendship as its base, and I liked how the author used flashbacks to tell their backstory. Both are suffering from old wounds and mistakes that they must address before they can move forward. Once they come together, though, whew! They are HOT!

Now having that above list in front you, you still don't want to check this out? Then you are wrong. This was straight fire. From page one. With the history between Nova and Parker weaved into the present. This is quite the masterpiece. I enjoy this series a lot and everything I've read from this author so far hasn't missed. The longing, the angst, the spice. It's all there. I volunteered to read and review an early copy of this. All opinions are my own.

This was so much more than I expected. I couldn’t put this book down. And I didn’t want it to end. Nova and Parker's story captivated me from the first page until the last one. I loved their chemistry and the history between them. It was just so hot and sexy.

Two stars primarily for the steam. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t get invested in the characters or their story. Additionally, the whole drama aspect of the story seemed like too much and too late, and I didn’t feel like the main characters trauma was dealt with in a reasonable way.
