I figured I would enjoy this book, because I am a huge fan of dragons, but it really exceeded my expectations.

The book is beautifully written with great descriptions. It is a rhyming book that has some truly fantastic rhymes. It's not all "you" and "too" as so many other children's books are. This one is amazing and beautiful.

I also really enjoyed the illustrations. Great details and diversity in the dragons.

This is such a heartwarming story and is just perfect. Highly recommend for dragon-lovers.

A very cute book about a baby dragon that leaves his home to eat his first knight. However, a storm leaves him injured and he is nursed back to health by....a knight. This results in an unlikely friendship where they both learn dragons don't eat knights anymore, just nibble.

This story is about a little dragon and knight named James. It’s a really sweet story and a book I would gift to a child. It’s about lending a helping hand, friendship, and learning to understand those who are different than us.

The illustrations are adorable and really help to transport the reader into a land of whimsy and adventure.

What a fun little story. In rhyme. Loved it. Young Dram (of the Dragons of Dread) and little James of Professor Hardbottom's Academy for Young Knights should not be friends. But when Dram falls out of the sky, injured, James helps the injured "duckie." Expressive art and dialogue and a happy ever after.

I am not sure what I like more, the story or the illustrations.  The cadence and rhyming is spot on.  It has the sweet sing-songy quality that I love in a picture book.  A boy and a young dragon meet.  They become friends, but realize too late that they are supposed to be enemies.  This story was absolutely wonderful and will need to be added to my personal collection.
