Easton Beck is lead singer of midnight fate. He's running from his past. All while drowning his sorrows. So when another round of people get on the cruise to do this perfect match thing. He goes along with it after his friend, Gina signs him up. He did not expect to meet Lark.

Lark is trying to get over finding out her boyfriend , Grant was cheating on her. When her best friend, Noelle signs her up for this perfect match cruise. All she plans to do is catch some rays and enjoy drinks and not worry about this perfect match. When she gets on the boat, she decides to at least meet her match, Easton. From there things progress, they learn new things about each other some things they don't share with anyone else.

I really loved this book. I'd definitely enjoy seeing these characters again in another book. Whether it's their own or another couple and there just mentioned. lol.

3 Rock Rock the Boat Stars

You know those books, you are super happy to read but when you’re in to it your like hmmm.

This book is kind of that for me. Don’t get me wrong I didn’t hate it but I didn’t love it I am in the in-between, maybe I was expecting too much? I think the plot of this book was pretty cool.

You go on a boat cruise and meet your perfect match. Kinda cool I think. I love that Lark’s girlfriend gets her to go, to get her out of her funk after a terrible break up. Because let’s face it we all need that friend right.

Easton’s heart is smashed, after losing the love of his life he doesn’t know how to come back from that. He also has a pretty amazing friend who is encouraging him to come back to the land of the living not saying he has to forget her just that he needs to start to move on.

I don’t know whether it’s me or what but I just don’t see the meaning to “forgetting” with alcohol. Yes its fiction but I just don’t see the appeal.

In the end it was and ok book. I was surprised the audio has a male narrator. Don’t get me wrong his voice is smooth as butter. But I thought the book would have been more suited for a female narrator.

This is the first book I've read by this author and I was not disappointed. The plot of this story was unique which I loved! I've never come across a book where the main characters go on a cruise to be matched up with someone. Especially a famous rock n' roll someone.

I really liked the main characters and I thought their names were very cool. There a couple of supporting characters I loved as well and some I disliked very much. There were times I wanted to cry because I could feel the pain that both Lark and Easton had endured. I really wish I got to see more of the characters relationship building specifically when they were done with the cruise.

This book was written in first person through the hero and heroine's POV.

This was my first book by this author and I really liked it. The plot was really interesting and drew me in from the beginning. I really loved Easton and how patient he was with Lark, working through all of her insecurities.

Lark Williams did not want to go on the Perfect Match cruise, but she knows it would disappoint her best friend. Still trying to move past her ex's betrayal, Lark really doesn't want to get involved with another man.

Easton Beck has his own reasons for not wanting to get in a relationship, he doesn't think that will be something he wants again. When his friends sets him up for a Perfect Match on the cruise he is performing at, he reluctantly agrees. Things look up when he meets Lark. No rules, no expectations but will one week be enough.

This was fantastic. Loved Easton, he has a wicked side to him and you are instantly a fan. I liked Lark, she was different because she was completely out of her element. Delicious read.

I was pleasantly surprised by this book! I thought the "love boat" concept was corny, but it ended up being sweet and not really a HUGE part of the story. Just a tiny piece. I actually really loved Lark & Easton. They were actually both really good characters once the story progresses a bit more.

It does drag a bit towards the end, but it allowed for closure with some of the other characters. I didn't really NEED the closure, but I understand why it's there. Some people like having all loose ends wrapped up! Which makes sense!

All in all, enjoyable quick read!
