My god, the ending had me in a state of utmost emotional turmoil. All I could do was hyperventilate and wheeze "Holy...holy...holy" , never able to finish the thought because I didn't have enough air to voice the "crap". Seriously, it nearly undid me.

This book is going on my list of Top Ten Worst (Best?) Cliffhangers.

I hate cliffhangers. They make me want to grab the author and shake her until words come leaking out of her pores. They make me consider doing things that, being a normally rational, sane person, would horrify me otherwise. They make me look back on the days when my six-year-old self told my dad that I was going to sell my future babies for money, and think that I might have been onto something. When it comes to cliffhangers, I'd give up my firstborn for the next book in the series. They drive me that crazy.

But at the same time, some small, detached part of me, the part that isn't all-consumed in a rampage for sequels, is able to step back and admire them for their ability to evoke such strong feelings. How crafty and brilliant does an author have to be to have such power over people? I think a truly heart-wrenching and gripping cliffhanger is a mark of the quality of the story.

And Karen Marie Moning is the goddamn queen of cliffhangers. Each of the books in the Fever series has ended in a cliffhanger, with Dreamfever owning the worst of them. It will blow you away. It will completely, devastatingly, obliterate you. All I can say is, thank god I didn't read this series until it was completed, because I am positive I would have gone stark raving mad waiting for each installment to be published. Phew. Disaster averted.

READ THIS SERIES. It's a bit explicit at times, and JB is a giant asshole at times, but in the end, it's worth it.

It is so completely odd to me that this series gets better as it goes along. So many times that's not the case. This is my favorite so far and while it has a million flaws and is just generally not fantastically written, the world is fascinating and HOT DAMN is that one long bit I'm not going to spoil THE HOTTEST, MORE HEART-WRENCHING SHIT EVER. Damn. Totally cliff hanger as well. AGAIN.

Holy Froggin' Crap! I can not believe the ending to this froggin book! I don't have shadowfever, so I can't keep reading. Who was it at the end??? It leads me to believe it is the ONE Person I don't want it to be...BUT HOW? Good gravy it sucks when you have no clue what is happening and the only way to find out is to get the next book, which I can't right at this moment! Argh, anyway I am completely hooked on this series! If Iced ends on a huge cliffie, I will seriously freak out! The only reason I'm not completely freaked is because I know I will be reading the next book in this series soon!

very good. I think that Mac and Barrons make a good couple. The ending was a complete surprise and i am glad that i am reading the last book after this.

Still love this series, but cliffhanger endings, that come so abruptly! Makes me glad I waited quite awhile to pick the series up so I wouldn't have to wait impatiently for the next book!

Each book keeps getting better. I was even able to forgive the cliffhanger ending in this one. Can't wait to start the next one.
