The romance was hot, yes. Questionable morals, absolutely. There just seemed to be a lot of unnecessary violence. I know this a "dark romance" but it got to the point where it just seemed like filler with no real necessity to the plot.
When they captured Thomas the poly torture group came in, it was fine but when Misty was like "omg you have to meet my poly friend!" As her ex is getting violently tortured, I thought "seriously?" That scene was so cringe.

The rest was good though. But that one scene just seemed so forced.

Still I burned through this book so fast.

(ARC Review)

First of all, I absolutely loved the dynamic of the four brothers. I would gladly read more of their stories.

This was a fun quick read, but not without a couple flaws.

I would have liked to see a prologue chapter for Damon l. He had the potential to be a really complex character, but I think we only get glimpses of that.

Chapter 38 seemed out of place for Misty’s character. There needed to be more on page dark build up to make this chapter believable.

It also felt like there was a lot more to Misty’s background and her family that I expected to play a bigger part in the story.

Overall it was a good book, maybe not as good as the Rule Breakers books. But still worth the read.

Heed the trigger warnings.
