This was super cute. A fun look into a beautiful tradition and holiday with gorgeous illustrations and explanations of what each item means. I will read anything Adib Khorram puts his name on at this point, so glad I was able to read this one, as well. Sweet story about family.

What an awesome book! I loved all of the vocabulary I got to learn about from a different culture. And some of their traditions for their new year

This brilliant picture book manages to be both an introduction to the Persian holiday of Nowruz and also a fun story for those already familiar with the holiday. I learned, I laughed, I went home happy.

An excellent book to teach children about the Persian tradition of Nowruz, celebrated on the first day of spring. 7 "S" items are set out on a half-seen (literally meaning 7 S) table, usually with items symbolizing things one would like in the new year.

I received an eAudio courtesy of Volumes in exchange for my honest review.

If anything I always love hearing new words pronounced correctly! And culturally this was very educational.

You can't go wrong with Adib. This book offers great info about Nowruz if you're just learning about the celebration, but will offer an exciting and educational story for kids who already know what it's about and want to engage more!
