This was a great collection of essays and although some of them were much too clever for me, they still gave me a lot to think about. It is quite frustrating to read some of her writing about intersectional feminism from decades ago and realise it's all still relevant now. Her writing is so incisive and hard-hitting and it feels like essential reading.

these essays are full of genius. it’s worth it to take them in slowly. the critiques of white feminism are still deeply relevant today. her writing on the transformative power of passion, emotion, love will stay with me for a long time and I know I will be returning to this book regularly.
