THIS BOOK ♥️

I haven’t unintentionally read a book in one sitting in over a year, but I flew through “Tilly in Technicolor” this morning and I wouldn’t have it any other way. 

As a person who didn’t know they were autistic until my twenties, this book means so much to me. I’ve never read a book that so potently describes what it’s like to live as a neurodiverse person in a neurotypical world without being preachy or overtly sad. I feel seen, I feel heard, and most importantly, this book made me feel LOVED 💗

To celebrate my unique autistic brain, I’ve decided to display this book among a collection of items that represent some of my special interests. (Side note: I wanted to include my cat but she kept trying to eat the bracelets)

Mazey Eddings YA debut is chaotic and raw and absolutely wonderful!

This book is at its heart about acceptance and being okay even if everything isn't all figured out. I personally cannot think of more important messages to be sending our teens--or adults! Tilly and Oliver are ridiculous and chaotic and absolutely lovely. I adored the found family aspect of the story as well as the incredible descriptions of various places in Europe. If you don't have summer travel plans-- pick this one up and you'll find yourself immersed Tilly's adventures across Europe. The dual POV was a very nice touch to the story!

All in all this was the perfect YA novel! I simply cannot wait for readers to get their hands on this book. Thanks so much to Wednesday books for the advanced copy in exchange for my honest review.

This book made me smile so much my cheeks hurt.  It was the perfect YA romance, with captivating and attachiing neurodivergentd main characters, adorable and fun supportive cast of friends, a delightful and adventurous summer road trip in Europe, a cute romance and reflection on siblings and parental relationship. It was fun, cute and fast paced. I loved it!
