“Take me back, haunt me no longer.”

I’ve always loved this story, people say it’s more like a horror story but i find it super comforting.
I love how the character of Scrooge develops with every scene, how he starts regretting his actions and decisions, how much sorrow he feels and how he starts hoping to finally redeem himself.
My favorite ghost is the ghost of Christmas Past bc of how melancholic it is, also i adore backstories hahaha.
Now im gonna watch the Muppets and Disney movie bye :)

This story touches me every year that I read it and helped me to understand family situations this past holiday especially.

It's my traditional annual holiday book read.

A classic, but didn't really captivate me.

Wonderful narration by Tim Curry. Great find on my Audible account.

I feel like watching The Muppets take on this story altered how I imagined this story in my mind. All I could see was Kermit the frog at every mention of Bob and Tiny Tim. I do enjoy how accessible Dickens is for a story written nearly 200 years ago.

I have just read A Christmas Carol so far.

I had no idea the narrator would be so hilarious.
