The ending was actually, surprisingly, very solid.

I felt the pacing was pretty good, even though it jumped back and forth and didn't wrap up everything until the very end. I felt the callbacks to earlier chapters at the very end were nostalgic and beautiful. I felt every story had a good reason for existing, even the very minor ones like the one with Red and Green.
Characters: 4/5.
Some characters were a solid 5/5 even small factor ones like Daisy Ulrich. Some characters were a bit more half-baked, but still enjoyable like Adam Wheeler. The star is obviously the (main) protagonist, Marion Wheeler.
Prose: 3.5/5.
Very solid writing, nothing too flowery or too pedestrian. Some chapters were a bit more vivid and alive than others, but overall it was fairly solid.
Worldbuilding 4.75/5.
Amazing world-building, which perhaps one can expect from an SCP-universe-adjacent novel. I felt everything connecting together, even tiny details mentioned chapters back. The intrigue and wonder one can feel when they go back and read about SCP-2256 for example, and so forth. The mysterious skyscraper sized obelisk, the rider on spider-back, brilliant.
Overall (not matriculated) 4.5/5.
Amazing sci-fi horror story. I didn't go into this expecting a lot, since I've never heard of QNTM prior to this, and I've only sparingly read into the SCPverse, but it was wonderful. Smartly written characters, expansive but fairly tight plot, beautiful ending. Probably my favorite book of 2025 so far, if I had to say.
