Listened as an audio book. A harrowing story of serious childhood trauma and her experiences as a First Nations and queer woman. This was a difficult read, content-wise, but such an important one.

Wow! What an amazing story by the everso gorgeous Brooke herself. Raw, intimate, true and full of heart and love. Such an inspiring story behind the Brooke we know from television and social media.
She dived deep for this book and for that I'm sure we're all truly grateful for.

Not giving this a book a rating because it feels wrong to rate someone’s life and personal experiences.
Aside from a few spelling mistakes and grammatical errors this was an enjoyable and informative read. It’s helped me understand and appreciate the original land owners culture and experiences. I hope with books like this it can create a positive impact for the community it was written by and for Australians and the rest of the world to strive for a better place where everyone is treated equally.
