I was expecting this book to be about the Morlok quadruplets and their lives. It was that, but there was a lot about the history of schizophrenia, racism, and other things that didn't really fit. The part about Satanic Panic was an odd thing to include. The parts about the sisters were interesting and I wish the book had focused on them. It was difficult to read at times as it was rather boring. This is a decent book, but I wish more of the focus had just been on the sisters and their family.

I wish it had focused more on the four women. It went on long, only semi-related tangents, for example about the history of psychology. This could have been relevant if shorter.
On the other hand, I disliked the "liberty taken" to narrative their feelings and thoughts.

Very informative in a sad way. The mental illness of the quadruplets was always second to their image. One wonders how they would have been had they been raised with love.
