Couldn't really get into it. Probably because I had no chance to grow to feel anything for the main characters.

Planetary is one of my favorite comic books of all time. Just re-read so the recently released ending would make sense. Loved every minute of it.

My old boss Lon told me for years to read Planetary. Now he's sadly, passed, and pretty young, too, and I wish I could have talked to him about this back when I worked with him at the comic book story.

Another re-read which was mysteriously left off my list...

This series has promise. The art style is simple but pretty good, and the world has been interesting to learn about. That said, I don't feel attachment to any of the characters yet, and each issue seemed mostly detached from the others, so it's hard to say if I'll be interested in whatever overarching story arises from this. But I definitely plan to jump right into the second volume, to get a better sense of the story.

This is pretty phenomenal. For me, this scratches an itch that [b:Irredeemable|6681037|Irredeemable, Vol. 1|Mark Waid|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1348603987s/6681037.jpg|6876264] never really got to (and why I've had to pick up and put down that series a bunch of time). Awesome characters and great art, really brilliant dialogue. ONWARD.

An edited review of this book will come sooner or later, this last one was pretty bad.
