64 pages in and I have no idea whose pov I’m reading from, what they’re doing or why.

Hidden Scifi gem. Four women - the exact same woman, biologically, from four different alternate times and dimensions - are brought together under mysterious inter-dimensional circumstances, and while this mystery is eventually resolved, the real charm and value of this book is the ways each of the four women discuss and explore the social constructions of gender and sex from each of their different dimensions.

3.5 - This book was fascinating, funny, remarkably relevant to our lives today and also super confusing. Worth the read but don't expect to have a full understanding of what you just read.

The form of the book is very interesting but also quite challenging. I found it very difficult to read and to focus on (covid situation doesn't help with that), there was no clear story but there are bouts of brillant writing and it would be interesting to analyse the structure of the book and the relation ship between the different characters and time and space.
