I really enjoyed reading many different variations of fairytales and the commentaries were amazing to read. It was a long book, but highly recommend.

The authors commentary completely ruins this book. I really don't think you need to belittle and degrade one group of women in order to boost up another. It's so unnecessary.

I read this book for a class on folklore and fairytales, it was interesting to see how the same stories or themes reappeared through the oral traditions of many cultures without interaction.
