Whimsical and interesting at first, but got bored halfway through. Eh.

Moody & cinematic, and I enjoyed it until the characters' relationship turned romantic. I just couldn't get past their teacher-student dynamic. Tsukiko's insistence on calling him Sensei until the end, and his constant reminiscence of Tsukiko as a high school student only sour the book further.
