Honestly, loved this. It's such an interesting exploration of accelerationism and dehumanization. It's a YA novel because the main characters are teens and the content is like PG-13, but it doesn't feel like a lot of the repetitive dystopian YA that came after the Hunger Games. I'm genuinely so impressed.

I like this one even more than Catfishing. Think Person of Interest Neighborhood 3: Requisition of Doom + every story you've ever encountered about evangelical Christian doomsday prepper cults. I devoured this book in a day and will be thinking about it for weeks to come.
