I read this a few months after reading the death of mrs westaway and I really don’t think it’s needed to be honest as it doesn't add much to the original story at all. The characters were ok and I found this little short story boring if am been completely honest. I enjoyed some parts of it but some parts I found out to grasp. Xxx

After reading The Death of Mrs. Westaway and then years later reading this, I had to remind myself of the characters from that original book. This backstory was interesting but I felt it wasn’t absolutely necessary to read in order to understand the makings of the characters of the original book. The therapist relationship with Mrs. Westaway was an interesting detail of this short story. Overall, I now have a little insight into the behaviors of the murderer in The Death of Mrs Westaway.
