Anything Holly Jackson writes, I will read.
Jackson's growth as a writer has definitely shown over these three books. I appreciate that Pip's character was explored more in this book, and she isn't just a *smart girl* anymore, like in the first book.
This book was VERY different from the first two, and it was right up my alley. The story took a turn I was not expecting, but I ended up loving it. I couldn't set this book down.

I’m not sure if crime novels are supposed to make me cry but I did so here we are anyway.
Definitely preferred this one over the second one because it made much more sense in most ways. It was much more coherent and made more sense than the second book did.
It was kinda clear who it was from the get go but I still enjoyed how we got there.
Everything after the halfway point made me feeling livid though. THAT WAS SO STUPID OMG.
Like I get why and everything but ARGHHHH.
I’m happy how that then played out, even though I was incredibly on edge but the very end?? My heart.
The very end felt very abrupt though and I did not like that, even though it was a little resolved at the very very end.
