So sweet! Mary Balogh is a great writer, the characters really felt very real and complex. The slow burn romance (but not sex) was so nice and natural. Definitely got heart squeezes when both Aidan and Eve were so worried that the other one didn't love them. Ugh! Love it.

Anyways, can't wait to read the rest of this series! Onto Rannulf.....

Let’s get married and never talk or see each other again is the stupidest plan ever. I mean Aidan really thought he was going to get away with getting married and his brother the duke wasn’t going to find out?? I tried to push through, but I’m so annoyed, I don’t want to finish or read the other books.

I really liked Aidan. I was worried that I would not like the rest of this series after reading the prequels, but it’s off to good start!
