Good. Not as light-hearted as Julia Quinn’s Bridgerton books, but I’m glad to have found a new series to take me away from 2020 now that I’ve read most of the Bridgerton books and spin-offs.

Audiobook (Rosalyn Landor)

Summary: Welsh FMC, commanding officer returns home from war to deliver news of FMC's brother's death, marriage of convenience to protect her property from relatives, quiet/stoic MMC

Stats: HR - Regency, M/F, open door, part of a series, stands alone.

Notes: A really lovely start to the series. Slightly overcomplicated, but still very enjoyable.
