The FMC annoyed me more in this, most problems could have been solved by honestly and I realised how stupid it was to

Also my pet peeve of smut in an epilogue happened. I also felt that the dad deserved a bit more but that didn't happen. Everything came together quick rushed at the end.

so action packed!
I was looking forward to Adrian and Lia’s books ultimately because their son is my favorite Heathen. And I also saw a reel somewhere that hinted that this book was action-packed. And I’m telling you, it didn’t disappoint! I got my dose of angst, mafia and bucket loads of tears.
If you are planning to read Legacy of Gods, you might understand the Volkov siblings better if you read these books first and the names and people who are mentioned in their books would also make a lot more sense. (Take it from someone who read Legacy of Gods first)
Lia and Adrian started off so unconventionally. So wrong in so many levels but at the same time, they both grew on me. It was a far cry from the Adrian I saw who was involved and a doting Father to Jeremy and Annika. But again, you understand where his darkness rooted from. Lia was the perfect person to roughen his edges. It’s basically their story that stemmed from darkness for so many years but they learned and navigated through it. It was a tear-jerker moment when they finally had their feelings laid out.
The third book, I kid you not, I had a whole scene of it in my head… but if I say what it is, it’ll just spoil it for you. Please read the books so we can gush about it together!
