A very French coming of age story about a 13 year old boy on holiday with his family who develops a crush on a 16 year old girl staying with the family.
I'm really curious about the reviews for this one because it there are some uncomfortable moments involving sexuality that some readers will want to shy away from, particularly when you take into consideration the age gap between the two characters when it comes to the more adult themes of sex, drinking and drugs.
But again, it's French and they have a very different perspective on coming of age stories. The actions of the characters aren't judged, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's being endorsed.
I really liked the strange artwork, but this also may turn readers off.

Tous les étés, Antoine et sa famille se prélassent dans une maison au bord de la mer. Cette nouvelle période estivale qui débute sera beaucoup plus mouvementée pour ce jeune garçon de 13 ans avec la venue d’une amie de la famille, Hélène. Sa relation quasi fraternelle avec la demoiselle de 16 ans suscitera de nouvelles émotions chez Antoine. Un album respirant la curiosité et la découverte du désir et la sensualité des premiers émois.

Difficile pour moi de séparer l'homme de l'oeuvre. Du coup, j'ai bien aimé globalement l'histoire, la relation entre les 2 frères, les parents, l'été désoeuvré, la fin, etc.
Mais toutes les scènes (d'initiation) sexuelles avec la jeune Hélène de 16 ans m'ont mis super mal à l'aise en pensant au (sale) type qui les a dessinées...
