I liked it a lot. I like questioning people morality. I wish there was less sex honestly cause I enjoyed the storyline. I wish they had used a few of the sex scenes to develop their emotional connection instead. I wish they made it less about the physical attraction as well especially at first. Like I wish they played up asshole Matt and made the connection begin more from protection then attraction.

Emotional damage!

This is part one of a very emotional story! I’m not even sure I fully understand what’s going on and he it will end but wow- very intense!

Defo recommend!

I’ve read two of this authors other books and I loved them. Unfortunately for me cheating is a big no no for me. I tried to carry on as I’ve really liked this authors previous books, but I can’t carry on with this one, I’m not liking the cheating storyline at all. Got to 50% and skimmed the rest. To be fair though this is a good author and if cheating in books is for you it might be your cuppa tea.

I knew this was cheating going in and while I’m not a huge fan of the trope, I can enjoy it in certain circumstances.  That circumstance being when it’s cheating to be together (so FMC & MMC not cheating on others, not each other),

TBH, it wasn’t the cheating that bothered me. I just don’t know that I like this couple 🤷🏻‍♀️  I’m still going to read on and hopefully I like them more in book 2. Also, this is single POV so it’s a little hard to really get a grasp for Will with only Charley’s POV.

Highlights:
  • Romance: MF
  • Cheating
  • He’s their marriage counselor
  • Taboo
  • 🍑 play
