It's been a while since I've watched this film but reading this was still heartwrenching. It might not be the best written novel but if you're interested in the Death Note universe and liked this film then it is well worth the read.
L steht vor seiner ultimaten Herausforderung. Eine Gruppe Terroristen möchte die Menschheit mit einem Virus ausrotten und nur auserwählte Personen wieder auferstehen lassen. Dafür wollen sie ein tödliches Virus, basierend auf Ebola und das entsprechende Gegenmittel nutzen. Als L davon erfährt, setzt er alles daran den Fall zu lösen, doch schon bald sind nicht nur die Terroristen die Gejagten...
L, Change the WorLd ist eine tolle Ergänzung zu Death note. Man muss jedoch gleich am Anfang bedenken, dass das Buch natürlich nicht die Manga/Anime-Story weiterführt, sondern die Realverfilmungen von Death Note. L, Change the WorLd spielt nämlich (genauso wie eben auch der gleichnamige Film) nach dem zweiten Death Note Film. Es gibt daher gravierende Änderungen in der Geschichte und wenn man die Filme nicht kennt, wird man am Anfang wohl etwas verwirrt sein.
Wer die Filme jedoch kennt, sollte sich das Buch definitiv anschauen. Es gibt viele interessante Infos über L und man kann auch tief in seine Gedanken eintauchen. Dazu dann natürlich eine interessante Story, unerwartete Wendungen und ganz viel Spannung!

An alternative endgame to the DeathNote series, the story takes place over 3 weeks with several of the original characters. While there's not a ton of character development, I think this comes from the fact that it builds off of the series, its decent paced and the character relationships are pretty good. Worth a read.
Loved this so much. Makes we want to give the films another chance so I can see this story in action.
I was expecting more from it. Death Note was such an amazing story and I feel like this book didn't live up to the expectations set by Death Note, but I was happy to just be able to read about L again.

Stayed up until 03:22 am to finish this fitting "sequel" or spin-off to the Death Note series.
"M" continues to keep me entertained throughout the story with detailed character development and exciting plot. Can be stale at times but it does pick up eventually. Stick with it.
Great little story once I got my teeth stuck into it.
I must admit that the ending really got me good, a fitting end to the story of the worlds greatest detective.
Also the cover is one of the best I think i've ever seen.
