Throughout the book there's a very interesting concept that makes you think "what if this was real?"

While it fell slow in the beginning, the second half of the book really picks up pace and it makes it worth your time. A lot of twists and turns (some predictable, some not). Because of the different POVs, I sometimes found myself more intrigued with certain storylines more than others. I thought it was a great read!

After reading the brief synopsis of the book I felt as though it would fit into my valentines theme for February. I took a chance with this one as I haven’t read any of John Marrs’s books and I don’t normally get into audiobooks, but this one did a great job and had multiple people reading which i enjoyed.
The long and the short of the story is there’s a company, Match DNA where each individual can take the DNA test in hopes to find their perfect match.
The story has 5 individuals with very different storylines. Each chapter bounces between the 5 people and their different situations. If you don’t enjoy that you won’t like this book as each chapter is a quick read.

The first person finds there match goes does a surprise visit just to find out he’s dying
The second person matches with her person just to find out he’s dead….
The third is already in a relationship but takes the test to prove their love is real… for him to then be paired with a man
The fourth is a serial killer who’s perfect match happens to be a police officer
And finally the fifth is the creator of the Match DNA who then finds her perfect match or so she thinks…..
All of these stories have their twists and turns and some really surprised me.
If you’re looking for a book with a happy ending you won’t get it here, but it is a very good read.

Overall, I thought the premise of this book was extremely intriguing and the execution was well done. The chapters are short and fast paced which is always a plus for me! There are several twists, some that you see coming and some you don't, which makes it a very enjoyable read. I kept wanting to find out what was really going on and what would happen next.
